Meet the instructor

Craig Anderson

Craig Anderson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Prevention Specialist. He has worked in the human services field for over 15 years. His experience has given him wonderful opportunities in direct clinical service, program administration, research, academics and as a national trainer. As a prevention specialist, he values the need to find macro level answers to the behavioral issues we face as a society. As a social worker he recognizes the importance of taking an individualistic look at how those issues affect each of us. Craig was introduced to Motivational Interviewing early on in his career and is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT). He’s had the opportunity to utilize MI in clinical settings as well as in his various supervisory positions.
